Commercial Aquatics were engaged to build the new 25m and multi-purpose Leisure pool at the new aquatic centre in Southern Cross. The pools were constructed in double form concrete and fully tiled. The 25m pool contains a disabled ramp and step access. The Leisure and Learn to Swim pool contains fountain features seated area and a toddler’s zone. The construction of the concrete balance and backwash tank was also included.

The filtration system comprises dual pumping system, horizontal sand filtration units & chlorine gas disinfection. Soda Ash is used for pH correction and a Poly aluminium chloride coagulant system was also installed.
