Located on the beautiful Western Australian coastline is the Scarborough Beach Pool facility. Commercial Aquatics were engaged to complete a new 8 lane, L-shaped 50m x 30m x 2m deep heated pool and a Learn to Swim heated pool, complete with concrete balance & backwash tanks, as part of the new Scarborough Beach redevelopment.

Both pools comprise double formed, fully tiled structures. The 50m pool includes a fully integrated disabled ramp and the LTS pool includes beach entry with beach bubblers. Sand filtration systems and dual pumps systems were utilised, along with salt electro-chlorinators for primary disinfection, with liquid chlorine as emergency backup. Heat exchangers were also installed, to received heat from a combination of sources including geo-thermal, gas boiler and reclaimed heating systems.
