The opportunity
Commercial Aquatics Australia have an opportunity for commercial Service Technician to join a highly experienced Service team in a full-time permanent capacity, working in the Greater Melbourne Area.
As a Service Technician, you will undertake scheduled maintenance, repair and troubleshooting tasks for commercial pools and aquatic centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduled maintenance and service of commercial pool operations
- Assist with filtration system replacement and upgrades
- Reactive and breakdown maintenance work as required
- Water testing and calibration
- Maintain accurate service records
- Maintain and enhance client relationships
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years demonstrated experience in pumps, commercial filtration systems, irrigation, wastewater or chemical treatment is highly desirable
- Trade certificate in Plumbing / Electrical / Mechanical desirable but not essential
- Willing to participate in a rotating on-call roster (once every 5 weeks)
- Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- A current Driver’s License
- Flexibility and willingness to work on regional sites during the week as required
- Current Police Clearance and Working with Children check, or willingness to obtain one
